Technology has changed the face of many industries with innovations like self-driving cars debuting on streets sooner than we think.

And days were spent shuffling paper work and faxing documents back and forther, taking time & resources. 

Obviously, this whole scenario has been fixed with the internet. Consumers can do their own preliminary research to help determine what they do and don’t like. This cuts the time spent by the agent down significantly. 

Not to mention using email and electronic files to streamline the paper shuffling mess on the back end.

This access to information makes the agent/client relationship better and more efficient.

Some real estate companies have seen this efficiency increase and have become fixated on it, for their own benefit. Some have acted on it by putting nearly the entire home buying process online.
